Dash Station was created by David Fulton, Ph.D., an independent product designer and a father of two young children.  He noticed that playgrounds were often filled with amazing components to challenge and engage kids (and adults) but were missing something more basic: a way to encourage people to run – and run fast – and compare their time to others.  So he assembled a team of designers and engineers, and with lots of input and feedback from kids, built the Dash Station.  You can now find the Dash Station in multiple states (and even in Thailand!) and we hope to make the Dash Station available to thousands of communities across the country with young people who want to show how fast they can run and who want to be active.
